- Owner/General Manager

Job Overview
- Involves strategizing, organizing, decision-making, and leading. This job entices embracing opportunity and being accountable for successes and failures, whichever one happens the owner faces the consequences. Being a successful owner/general manager consequently renders the business successful via efficient communication through the staff and everyone involved.

Being a manager is not just managing and delegating people it entices a lot more.
- It involves:

  • Organizing
  •  Planning (strategic planning, market planning, product planning, etc)
  • Leading and controlling resources, 
  • Decision making (stressing and  frustrating in regards to all difficulties and obstacles encountered)
  • Being open to failure (having to remain optimistic and keep in mind that the business may not blossom immediately or struggles will come at first which will entice emotional readiness (being and remaining strong))
  •  Embracing opportunity
  • Mobilizing (being open to experience whether it’s in my field or hiring staff (I have to constantly learn and be knowledgeable in my field)
  •  Being accountable for my actions and the outcome of my business. 
  • Having a high self-esteem 
  • Being need for achievement.

  • Currently studying Business Administration (second year)

Although, I am young and currently working on my Bachelor in Business Administration, I have worked and managed different offices on different fields and occasions ranging from schools, businesses, to churches to miscellaneous events. Having done so has allowed me to be open-minded, yet, accurate meaning managing a business accordingly to the field..
